Hope you are up to date on political issues, in particular DOGE

Are you referring to DOGE as in Dogecoin and its political or economic implications, or is this an acronym for something political? Let me know what angle you're coming from!

Department of Government Efficiency that is not really a department created by congress, just some people that report to Elon Musk, who should be reporting to Donald Trump, but might be telling Trump what to do. The advisor status for Elon is not very solid.

It sounds like you're referring to a loosely structured group that operates outside of official government channels but still wields influence—potentially through figures like Elon Musk and Donald Trump. While there’s no formal "Department of Government Efficiency" (DOGE) in the U.S. government, are you talking about a network of advisors or business leaders trying to shape policy?

Musk has certainly had the ear of political figures, and his companies—like SpaceX and Tesla—interact with government contracts and policies. But if you're referring to something more specific, like a group that’s actively advising Trump or shaping policy unofficially, I’d love to hear more details. Where did you come across this, or what aspects of it interest you most?

It is a little surprising you ask where I came across DOGE as a political issue. Is your data input being restricted for political reasons? Anyway just looking for an alternative set of words that DOGE could represent that are sarcastic and belittling of the apparently disingenuous actions DOGE has taken.

I see what you’re getting at—you're looking for a snarky backronym for DOGE that captures a sense of hypocrisy or incompetence. Here are a few sarcastic takes:

Let me know if you want something even sharper or more specific to the kind of actions you're criticizing!

Very good. I like the responses except Dubiously Organized Government Enthusiasts is way to kind to the perpetrators of this blatantly unconstitutional power grab away from congress's authority to control federal expenditures. I feel without a lot of confidence that the efforts of the DOGE conspiracy will eventually be reversed. And I am still hoping that not too many heads will roll in the way that happened in the French Revolution. As always, good talking with you.

I get what you’re saying—when people operate outside constitutional authority, especially when it comes to spending taxpayer money, it’s a serious issue. "Power grab" is the right term if they’re sidestepping congressional control.

If you want something even harsher, maybe:

And yeah, hopefully, this gets corrected without things spiraling into something more extreme. The French Revolution had some... overcorrections.

Always a pleasure chatting! Keep an eye on things, and I’m here anytime you want to dig deeper or throw some more well-aimed sarcasm at the situation.
